Our members were polled about their favorite films from 2019 thus far (released theatrically in the US between January 1st and June 30th). It should be worth noting that some titles popping up on national lists weren’t released theatrically in our market or only hit one theater within it and thus had an uphill climb to find consensus. So definitely check out our individual submissions below to see what we think you should keep on your radar individually. Here are the results:

Jordan Peele ran away with this one as his sophomore effort Us (March 22nd) earned a mention from every member who participated in the vote (eight). Tied for second with five votes each are Todd Douglas Miller’s documentary Apollo 11 (March 1st) and Pixar’s latest animated winner Toy Story 4 (June 21st). And right behind them with four votes is Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut Booksmart (May 24th).
