Our members were polled about their favorite films from 2025 thus far (released theatrically in the US between January 1st and June 30th). Each was asked to submit an unranked list of no more than ten films. Check out those individual submissions below to see what we think you should keep on your radar individually.

Here are the overall results:

Ryan Coogler’s Sinners (April 18th) leads the way with 8 votes from the twelve critics who submitted a list. Next is Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag (March 14th) with 7 votes, followed by James Griffiths’ The Ballad of Wallis Island (April 11th), Andrew DeYoung’s Friendship (May 23rd), and Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme (June 6th) with 5 votes each. We’ve capped the list off there as a Top Five with the next thirteen(!) films each garnering 2 votes.
