AWARDS: Our 2025 Nominees

The ballots have been counted for the Greater Western New York Film Critics Association’s eighth annual end-of-year Film Awards. We’ve chosen the below films as our collective favorites after engaging in a weighted scale voting process for Best Picture and sixteen other major categories. Potential titles/artists were restricted to those films released first-run theatrically/streaming in the United States during the 2025 calendar year (including Oscars-qualified titles).

Leading the way are ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER (12 nominations), SINNERS (11 nominations), and MARTY SUPREME (10 nominations).
